Jon Taylor is a native of the Chicago area, but moved to Pleasant Grove, Utah while in junior high. He attended Brigham Young University and received a Bachelor’s Degree in English. He then moved to Tucson, Arizona to attend law school at the University of Arizona. While at the University of Arizona, Jon served as Research and Development Editor of the Arizona Journal of International and Comparative Law. He also worked as editor of Comparative Commercial Contracts, a textbook which is now used in classrooms internationally. He also participated actively in the Workers’ Rights Project, which provided free employment related legal services to low wage workers.

When Jon is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children. He
also loves playing and watching sports and playing the piano. Jon currently resides in Saratoga Springs, Utah, where he is actively working with the local city counsel to establish the city’s first Chamber of Commerce.
